About The Position

The Imaging Technologist I is responsible for performing radiographic procedures, ionizing radiation to render optimum images, which are used to support diagnoses and provide insight into medical issues, concerns or conditions. This position conducts preliminary analysis on images and collaborates with doctors and other Healthcare professionals to interpret images. This position assists with training students and technologists and performs injection procedures. The Imaging Technologist I is required to be qualified to care for infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The Technologist maintains optimum timeliness, accuracy, proficiency, efficiency, and safety during the execution of duties, and works closely with patients to ensure they understand procedures and are comfortable during procedures. Requirements

  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association Required
  • Radiology Student Permit - Radiology Student Permit As required by state Required or State Radiographer Operator License - . As required by state Required
  • Radiography (ARRT-R) - . Indiana within 1 Year Required
