About The Position

Operates X-Ray Equipment to make radiographs of designated anatomical area. Responsibilities include knowledge of all x-ray equipment, proper patient positioning, exposures, digital image management for interpretations, implementation of patient charges, and assists physician as required. Will be available for emergency on-call procedures as required. Recognizes the need for control/assessment of pain for patients and helps to prevent or reduce patient pain levels when possible.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and be in good standing.
• Prefer the student to have completed first year and currently working on second year of program but not required.
• Must acquire registry within one year of program completion.
