About The Position

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled and experienced Imaging Tech II /CT Scanner Technician to join our dynamic medical imaging team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images for medical interpretation. Requirements

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department is required.
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA-approved school or BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA-approved school.
  • Cross-training in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography is required.
  • License is required as issued by ARRT (national), CRT (state), and Fluoroscopy certification.
  • Certification in one modality is required.
  • Fire Safety card. (must obtain within 90 days of start date)

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans on patients according to physician orders.
  • Monitor patients for any adverse reactions and respond promptly.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to obtain relevant clinical information for accurate image interpretation.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Document and record patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system
