About The Position
Baptist Health is the largest healthcare system serving central Alabama, providing comprehensive hospital-based and outpatient services to nearly 60 percent of the residents in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore counties. The Technologist Assistant serves as a supportive member of the patient care team who assists in routine and non-complex aspects of patient care and other duties to support the operations of the Imaging Center. This position is responsible for facilitating the efficient operation of the assigned modality through demonstration of consistent organizational and communication skills. The Technologist Assistant assists technologists, physicians, RNs, and LPNs in the patient care process and works in collaboration with Registration, assuming such a role as deemed necessary.
