Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: Days/Afternoons (United States of America) Job Summary: The Supervisor of Imaging manages and coordinates the daily operations of all assigned areas while overseeing the imaging services to optimizes the experience. They will maintain a productive work environment by meeting all professional, regulatory, and accreditation standards. The Supervisor also collaborates with the imaging personnel, inter-disciplinary departments, facility leadership, Manager of Imaging, Director of Imaging, and Medical Director of Imaging to ensure exceptional care. Essential Functions: Provides an environment of open communication and support among all team members. Creates an inclusive culture of learning and supporting the growth of associates. Monitors associate behaviors and goals to ensure they are aligned with the Key Performance Metrics and take corrective action or action plans when warranted. Utilize knowledge to assures compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards in alignment with the Joint Commission, ACR, State Department of Health and NCR. Promotes and initiates performance improvement activities. Manage patient flow and technologist hours to maintain the needs of quality radiology services. Plans and conducts regular and specialized in-service training programs. Recommends the number of staff members needed and ensures that staff members are qualified. Requirements

  • Associates in Applied Science of Radiography (required)
  • Certification and Registration with one of the following: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (required)
  • State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed)
  • 2 years of experience in clinical environment (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Imaging Technologies experience (preferred)
  • EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience (preferred)
