Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline required.

Nice To Haves

• Applicants must be enrolled in a radiology program and be within 6 months of graduation to be considered

Responsibilities

• Provide services to patients within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations, under the direct supervision of a registered tech.
• Prepare and position patients and selects exposure factors accurately.
• Implement radiation protection and safety standards within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Prepare for and assists the supervising technologists and physicians in a variety of imaging procedures.
• Prepare and administers contrast media and medications.
• Position patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area in the department.
