Imaging Student Extern PRN
About The Position
The Imaging Student extern delivers high quality , patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care skills while gaining practical experience and knowledge in imaging principles. Under the supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist, the Imaging Student extern prepares for and assists with imaging procedures, in accordance with the Externs skills/training and the needs of he Department. The Imaging Student Extern is currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of radiography and can perform higher-level procedures once competency is achieved.
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program required
- High School Graduate / GED
