The Imaging Student Extern delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care skills while gaining practical experience and knowlege in imaging principles. Under the supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist, the Imaging Student Extern prepares for and assists with imaging procedures, in accordance with the Externs skills/training and the needs of the Department. The Imaging Student Extern is currently enrooled and in good standing in an accredited school of Radiography and Ultrasound and can perform higher-level procedures once competency is achieved. Requirements

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Currently enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school of Ultrasound

Nice To Haves

Preference will be given to students that have completed their first year of the Ultrasound program
