About The Position

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Receive and review loan documentation for borrowers, guarantors, and related parties for completeness. Add exceptions and ticklers as needed; monitor and resolve outstanding documentation issues. Scan, index, and accurately image loan, credit, and report-related documents into the imaging system. Verify digital documentation for accuracy, clarity, and completeness; update Enterprise Loan Servicing Log. Organize and archive digitized physical files for future retrieval, including legal proceedings. Track and resolve documentation exceptions (e.g., missing recordings, expired filings) and provide feedback on deficiencies. Assist team members and auditors by researching and supplying required documentation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate proficiency using electronic imaging technology and related storage requirements, image and document formats.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to identify loan documents so they are imaged and indexed correctly.
  • Knowledge of bank regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize daily work assignments while working in a demanding environment is required.
  • Ability to meet deadlines defined by Bank and regulators.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of document imaging and record management experience of commercial documentation in commercial banking.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with loan documents and prior experience in a scanning department, loan operations or FCM/ImageCentre.
