About The Position

As an Imaging Specialist, you will perform scans, indexing documents, billing and file requests. You will assist with opening and distributing mail and faxes. You’ll work with a team and collaborate with colleagues in other departments to help our customers and the families we serve together.

Requirements

• Equivalent to high school degree
• 1+ years of experience in an office environment preferred.
• 10-key and alpha skills needed with an emphasis on accuracy.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office products: Excel, Outlook and Word

Responsibilities

• Prepares documents for scanning by removing staples, checking for policy numbers, inserting barcodes, tape documents and place documents in designated order.
• Receives, opens, sorts, matches and distributes incoming mail to the scanner area and other departments.
• Operates scanner and scans documents into workflow.
• Index scanned documents by 10-key and alpha, entering in main index number to auto-fill appropriate fields.
• Performs quality control on all scanned documents, checks for legibility, verifies document count, and verifies index information.
• Aids and assists in locating documents, files and performs other office support tasks as requested.
