About The Position

St. Mary's is a 229-bed, acute care hospital located in Enid, OK. St. Mary's Regional Medical Center has served the healthcare needs of northwest Oklahoma for more than 100 years. We host more than 125 highly skilled physicians offering specialties in Cardiology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine, Rehabilitation, Laboratory, Women's Imaging, Wound Care, and more. The Imaging Specialist-Mammographer performs mammographic procedures at a level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs quality assurance and quality control activities to meet MQSA, ACR accreditation and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs all mammography exams required by the department utilizing proper positioning and technical standards.
• Accurately identifies normal and pathological processes and distinguishes them from artifacts.
• Assures patient requisition is accurate and completed immediately upon exam.
• Provides physician with accurate patient history and technical impressions.
• Documents and records information required on films and requisitions.
