About The Position

The Imaging Services Fellowship Advanced Imaging role works under the direct supervision of a modality-registered technologist as directed by a physician to perform a mixture of diagnostic imaging exams for Imaging Services. If the fellow does not pass the post-primary advanced registry on the first attempt, one additional opportunity is permitted within 90-days of the date of initial failure. Should the second attempt result in a non-passing score, the fellow should apply for any open positions for their initial registry. Initial position and hours are not held. The program's requirements must be met within 12 to 14 months depending on the modality fellowship. The Imaging Services Fellowship Advanced Imaging position is a training practicum to expand the knowledge, skills, abilities, and clinical pathways to reduce the learning gap in obtaining an advanced secondary American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (s): Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), and Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI).
