About The Position

Responsibilities RESPONSIBLE FOR: Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment specific medical devices. Inspect, test, replace and adjust malfunctioning components and parts. Keep records of system problems and issues. #LI-POST #GD Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronic Technology, Imaging Service Technology or a related field OR related military training. In lieu of degree, three (3) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Five (5) years of experience (expert trained) performing corrective and preventive maintenance on high tech diagnostic equipment as: CT, MRI, Cath & IR labs, Nuclear Med, Mammography, Linear Accelerators. In lieu of degree, eight (8) years of relevant experience required. MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: None. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Certified Radiology Equipment Service (CRES) is preferred. Vendor raining preferred. Must possess specialized training by manufacturer or third-party equipment repair in high end equipment such Diagnostic Imaging Service. Working knowledge of, imaging technology, medical terminology, medical instrumentation, anatomy, and/or physiology service techniques. Broad knowledge and up-to-date understanding of OSHA, NFPA, DNV, TJC, , FDA and other specific state and federal regulations and standards pertaining to equipment service and repair.
