Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronic Technology, Imaging Service Technology or a related field OR In lieu of , Required or In Lieu of degree related military training. Required or In Lieu of degree three (3) years of relevant work experience will be accepted in addition to the experience requirement Required
• 5 years of experience (expert trained) performing corrective and preventive maintenance on high-tech diagnostic equipment, such as CT, MRI, Cath & IR labs, Nuclear Med, Mammography, Linear Accelerators. Required or In lieu of degree eight (8) years of relevant experience (see above) Required
• Must possess specialized training by manufacturer or third-party equipment repair in high end equipment such Diagnostic Imaging Service Required

Nice To Haves

• Certified Radiology Equipment Service (CRES) Preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment specific medical devices.
• Inspect, test, replace and adjust malfunctioning components and parts.
• Keep records of system problems and issues.
