Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of scheduling Imaging patients and supporting our CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Vascular, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, X-Ray and Fluoroscopy clinics.
  • Work closely with physicians, techs and NPs.
  • Obtains clinical information and screens for exam appropriateness.
  • Using critical thinking skills, they make judgment calls and involve the radiologist, nurse or technologist when necessary.
  • Interacts with office staff and patients, in a courteous and professional manner, with a focus on keeping waits and delays at a minimum.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments; coordinate anesthesia; verify orders; provide preparation information; obtain lab results, history and physicals, and written orders.
