About The Position

Lutheran Hospital’s Imaging team is seeking a dedicated Scheduler/Coordinator to support one of the most dynamic and specialized departments in the hospital. This role is essential to the success of our Imaging program. Imaging procedures are complex and require a deep understanding of clinical workflows, patient acuity, and procedural coordination. By bringing scheduling directly into the Imaging department, you’ll play a key role in improving efficiency, reducing workflow disruptions, and allowing our team to focus on what they do best—supporting patients and caregivers. Requirements

  • ARRT or State RN License
  • Demonstrated experience of diagnostic and/or interventional radiology

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience as Registered Nurse or Radiology Technologist in clinical setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates accountability and responsibility for practice behaviors in context with current professional practice standards, policies and procedures.
  • Plans and prepares for interventional procedures based on the individual needs of the patient and radiologist.
  • Consistently provides a safe, efficient environment for the patient and the interventional procedure team.
  • Acquires and maintains current knowledge of Radiologist Technologist Practice.
  • Demonstrates primary responsibility for ongoing education and professional development needs.
  • Demonstrates professionalism in interactions with patients, physicians, and co-workers.
  • Promotes teamwork to provide safe, effective care to patients.
  • Functions in the role of patient advocate in support of the patient’s rights, dignity, privacy, and best interest.
  • Evaluates factors related to safety, effectiveness, availability, cost, and impact on practice when planning and delivering patient care.
  • Demonstrates leadership related to the coordination of care across settings and among caregivers
  • Participate in patient management, following review with the supervising physician.
