Join us At the Forefront, at University of Chicago Medicine, as an Imaging Physics Resident in the Radiology General Procedures Department at UChicago Medicine Main Campus. As an Imaging Physics Resident, you will be training in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physics. Under the supervision of certified Medical Physicists, studies and trains in all aspects of diagnostic imaging medical physics including radiography, fluoroscopy, interventional radiology, mammography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, ultrasound and imaging informatics. Provides physics support, interacts with radiologists in optimizing imaging protocols and patient radiation dose, and is involved in routine quality assurance of equipment. We seek candidates with an excellent foundation in medical physics and a strong desire to thrive in a clinical environment. Preferred candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in medical physics from a CAMPEP-accredited graduate program or have completed a CAMPEP-accredited Certificate Program in Medical Physics.
