Job Description: The Imaging Patient Services Coordinator Float provides total medical office support including registration, scheduling, and HIM functions. Manages the registration of patients within the office and by telephone. Obtains patient insurance and demographic information, collects co-pays, schedules new and return scan appointments, ensures precertification authorizations are received as required by insurance. Monitor and distribute inbound and outbound documentation whether electronic or paper format. Imaging Patient Services Coordinator float handles these functions for both Tennessee Oncology patients as well as Non-Tennessee Oncology patients.
