About The Position

Mercy Health is looking for New Grads and Experienced Imaging Technologists to join our team. We have openings in various locations including Anderson Hospital, Clermont Hospital, Fairfield Hospital, Kings Mills Hospital, The Jewish Hospital, and West Hospital. The Radiological Technologist is a certified health professional who, under the direction of an authorized user, is committed to applying the art and skill of diagnostic imaging through the safe and effective use of ionizing radiation, in diagnostic radiology. The MRI Tech is responsible for daily modality operations, performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) according to established protocols, and contributing to the training and onboarding of new employees. The CT Technologist applies the art and skill of diagnostic imaging through the safe and effective use of CT scanning equipment, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by producing diagnostic CT scans.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred).
  • Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (required).
  • State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed).
  • BLS Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (required).

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced modality registration in MRI (required within one year of hire).
  • Advanced modality registration in CT (preferred, or must obtain within 2 years).

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging using ionizing radiation under the direction of an authorized user.
  • Conduct Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) according to established protocols.
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new employees and supervision of MRI students.
  • Produce diagnostic CT scans to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
