About The Position

Responsible for tracking actionable radiologic findings utilizing a software tracking program to ensure these findings are communicated to the physician and patient. Specific goal: Reduce missed radiologic findings requiring follow up care and evaluate the tracking program to determine if it successfully decreases missed findings and increases the number of appropriate studies and recommended follow up care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships with team members
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to present data and updates regarding the program
• Minimum 3+ years of clinical experience in radiology or patient care areas

Nice To Haves

• RN or RT license preferred

Responsibilities

• Relay information to physicians regarding actionable findings in a timely and professional manner
• Track radiologic recommendations and ensure physicians and patients understand the finding and recommended follow up care.
• Responsible for maintaining the database of actionable findings requiring follow up care
• Responsible for data collection/analysis and dissemination of findings
• Identify opportunities and make recommendations for improvement
