About The Position
Aspirus Plaza Drive Clinic in Wausau, WI is seeking an IMAGING INTERN to join our Radiology team! The Imaging Intern is a current Radiology Student attending college pursuing a degree in Radiology or Imaging The Imaging Intern plays a vital role in the safe, smooth and efficient delivery of diagnostic imaging care to patients of all ages. Working closely with all members of the radiology team, he/she is responsible for providing a clean and safe environment as well as functioning as transporter, positioning aide, and runner for supplies This individual assists in maintaining a clean and safe environment by performing room cleaning and set up tasks, cleaning the department traffic areas, stocking supplies and performing end of the day cleaning tasks. May float between other Wausau area clinics HOURS: Occasional hours based on department need & student availability
Requirements
- Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Currently enrolled in a Radiology Technologist program earning degree in field
