The Rad-IS Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and improving Rad-IS Informatics infrastructure at a highly technical level. This position will require excellent knowledge of both hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting. It is imperative that this individual have a good knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 10, and Rad-IS Informatics clinical applications. This position will also be responsible for technical projects as assigned. Depending on the level of assigned responsibility for various systems, must provide first, second and third level support for all technical issues related to Rad-IS Informatics workstations as an escalation point in the identification and correction of moderately complex to complex computing systems and applications problems, including interaction with other support staff or outside vendors. Independently determine approaches and strategies.

  • Maintain, monitor, and improve Rad-IS Informatics infrastructure.
  • Provide first, second, and third level support for technical issues related to Rad-IS Informatics workstations.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software configuration issues.
  • Execute technical projects as assigned.
  • Interact with support staff or outside vendors for issue resolution.
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, systems engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Three years of experience in user support.
  • Two years of experience with SQL database/server/systems administration.
  • Experience with DICOM and HL7.
  • Industry certifications are required or to be enrolled within 12 months.
