Under general supervision of the Managers of Medical Imaging, assists in the direction of staff working in the diagnostic imaging department with regards to process, department flow, procedures and other activities related to the department operations. Operates equipment associated with their specialty as well as other general department equipment. All essential functions performed in this position reflect the age specific needs of the geriatric, adult, and adolescent patient. Fosters patient and family centered care and nursing services in accordance with the Brown University Health and The Miriam Hospital's mission, vision, and values, with consideration of the life span, including all developmental stages as well as cultural patterns.
