Imaging Assistant - Full Time
About The Position
The Radiology department at Medical Associates is hiring a full time Imaging Assistant! Seeking individuals that have a high attention to detail, enjoy interacting with patients and clinical staff, and are motivated by high-volume and fast-paced work. This position is a great opportunity for potential students looking to gain experience in Radiology! Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
Nice To Haves
- Some radiology or health care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Take patients to dressing area and prepare for exam
- Assist x-ray technologist
- Access patient orders for imaging studies
- Document and track outside patient exams
- Answer telephone calls related to any image requests
- Burn x-ray images to CD or electronically transferring images for outside use
- Fax reports or consents for outside imaging
- Complete all other assigned projects and duties
