About The Position
About Corewell Health Wayne Hospital Corewell Health Wayne Hospital opened its doors to western Wayne communities in 1957. This full-service hospital is the only hospital in the Wayne, Westland, Garden City, Canton, Inkster and Romulus area verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital has a longstanding partnership with Detroit Metropolitan Airport and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to handle a wide variety of health and communicable disease concerns including mass trauma and emergency patients. Scope of work Under direct supervision the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed following the established policies and procedures within the Imaging environment. Responsible for performing a wide range of duties as assigned by the Imaging department. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience
- 2 years’ patient care experience.
Nice To Haves
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
