Responsibilities

• Transport patients and take medical histories.
• Prep patients for exams.
• Assist with exams and explain any delays in procedures.
• Process requisitions, schedules, and assist with retrieval of images.
• Control inventory and maintain adequate levels of supplies.
• Perform dark room duties.
• Assist with special projects as assigned such as Quality Assurance, Education, etc.

Requirements

• Equal to completion of four years of High School plus additional specialized training or courses.
• Duties require computer skills including knowledge of both hospital departmental computer systems.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Knowledge of office equipment and basic knowledge of patient care equipment is required.
• One year of related work experience required.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons.
