This position transports patients and assists with various patient care functions as directed. Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and compassionately.
  • A team player with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient interactions with tact and confidentiality.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
  • CPR certification (Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Responder) is required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a patient care or healthcare environment is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Greet and transport patients to and from imaging exams, ensuring they feel safe and supported.
  • Assist with patient care under the direction of our skilled technologists, providing reassurance and comfort throughout their visit.
  • Help prepare exam areas, manage supplies, and maintain a well-stocked and organized department.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, patient preparation, and maintaining accurate records in our radiology system.
  • Follow department protocols for patient handling, equipment use, and infection control to ensure a safe environment for all.
