About The Position

GENERAL OVERVIEW: This job provides support for staff and patient care within the assigned imaging department. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Transports patients to and from clinical areas and verifies patient identity according to policies and procedures. Assists technologists with preparing patients for procedures. (30%) Performs post-procedural duties including patient discharge, room clean up and restocking supplies. Assists with inventory control. (30%) Assists technologists with delivering and retrieving patient reports/imaging, entering data, in electronic medical records, import and export through appropriate means and methods. (20%) Provides nonclinical support to the department as necessary. (20%) Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPR – American Heart Association
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience in medical office or imaging office setting.
