About The Position

The Imagery Analyst position within the CAGS program focuses on analyzing a wide range of GEOINT assets and maintaining expertise in various tradecrafts. The role involves developing, assessing, and making recommendations regarding GEOINT capabilities and ensuring the Government GEOINT community is informed about emerging technologies. The analyst will work independently, supporting decision-making processes and producing reports and briefings for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field AND 7 years of Intelligence Analysis experience including 5 years as a CURRENT GEOINT Analyst.
• HS diploma/GED AND Specialized Training with at least 10 years of Intelligence Analysis experience including 7 years as a CURRENT GEOINT Analyst.
• Expert knowledge of Army structure and defense level intelligence operations.
• Extensive experience in assessments, enterprise data integration, governance, and metrics.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience with intelligence operations and drafting expert assessments.
• Specialized training from intelligence collection and analysis schools or certifications such as GEOINT Professional Certification.
• Understanding of the National System for GEOINT (NSG).

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of full spectrum GEOINT assets including SAR, EO, MTI, LiDAR, OPIR, and GI&S.
• Develop, assess, review, and analyze GEOINT capabilities and system requirements.
• Make recommendations concerning personnel, communications, logistics, and other functions.
• Keep the Government GEOINT community informed of emerging technological developments.
• Provide input on GEOINT collection strategies for supported commands/agencies.
• Research, create, develop, and deliver professional briefings and multimedia presentations.
• Support decision-making and special projects on integration issues.
• Coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groups.
