About The Position

The position requires a candidate to have extensive experience in intelligence analysis, particularly in the context of military operations and national security. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using various Navy Common Operating Picture (COP) tools and will have a strong background in collaborating with the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). The role involves producing timely and concise analytic reports and assessments, utilizing Microsoft Office tools, and applying complex analytic methodologies to support defense intelligence objectives. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively within the Intelligence Community (IC).

Requirements

  • Experience using Navy Common Operating Picture (COP) tools such as Minotaur, Navy Tactical Grid (NTG), DCGS-MC, CAC2S, or MTC-X.
  • Experience working with/collaborating with ONI.
  • NGA's GPC certificate Imagery Analyst II (IA2).
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of intelligence concepts and classification guidelines.
  • Ability to evaluate and synthesize multiple sources of information logically.
  • Ability to produce timely, logical, and concise analytic reports using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Ability to develop structured research and maintain information within security protocols.
  • Ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions in information.
  • Working knowledge of complex analytic methodologies.
  • Understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and limitations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to collaborate with other IC members on information sharing.
  • Ability to lead teams in researching critical problems.
  • At least 8 years of relevant analysis experience, with some within the last 2 years.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related area from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on full motion imagery analysis, producing intelligence products derived from airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance platforms.
  • Provide real-time 24/7/365-366 full motion video exploitation in a shift work environment.
  • Research multi-disciplined IC databases to acquire amplifying or clarifying information.
  • Produce standard and non-standard FMV imagery analysis products.
  • Conduct imagery research and analysis to meet current USMC requirements.
  • Create and provide metadata to support structured observations.
  • Identify targets and target-related activities by understanding Order of Battle.
  • Conduct target research to provide amplifying information and context.
  • Analyze existing information to identify gaps in coverage/knowledge.
  • Conduct data mining using various databases and intelligence sources.
  • Provide multimedia production in support of exploitation activities.
  • Conduct peer-to-peer assessments for analysts.
  • Conduct multi-INT research, exploitation, organization, prioritization, processing, analysis, production, and dissemination of intelligence information.
