About The Position

The Image Technician 1 plays a critical role in supporting the imaging operations within our organization by ensuring high-quality image processing and management. This position involves the accurate handling, scanning, and digitization of various physical and digital media to maintain an organized and accessible image database. The technician will collaborate closely with other team members to troubleshoot imaging equipment and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Attention to detail and adherence to established protocols are essential to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all image data. Ultimately, the Image Technician 1 contributes to the seamless flow of visual information that supports broader organizational objectives and client needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic experience with digital imaging equipment and software
  • Familiarity with computer systems and file management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or certification in imaging technology, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Experience with advanced image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
  • Knowledge of digital asset management systems.
  • Previous experience in a production or archival environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as scanners, cameras, and related hardware to capture and digitize images accurately.
  • Perform quality control checks on scanned images to ensure clarity, resolution, and proper formatting according to project specifications.
  • Organize, catalog, and archive digital images systematically to facilitate easy retrieval and long-term storage.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to imaging hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with team members to update and improve imaging workflows and documentation.
