About The Position

The KLA Sensors team is looking for a dedicated engineer to join our group and contribute in the area of camera development focused on Sensor Engineering and Test. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual contributor that has the vision and initiative to provide technical leadership on the assigned project. The main job functions would include: Collaborating with KLA CTO group, Sensors Group, and Manufacturing partners on the design, integration, and test of solid-state image sensors Gathering System and Camera Subsystem requirements and generating sensor test requirements Developing engineering tests in Matlab/Python/LabVIEW/Excel Integration and modification of sensor test fixtures Verifying sensor performance and reliability, and integrating the sensor sub-system

Requirements

  • The successful candidate will ideally have a demonstrated record of innovation and implementation of leading-generation CMOS or CCD-based sensors, from design through production and release phases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Sensor test experience, preferably with high bandwidth low noise CMOS or CCD
  • Experience and knowledge of innovative CMOS/CCD sensor manufacturing, packaging, and testing processes
  • Project and vendor management skills
  • Camera system integration experience
  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
