The goal of the Sales Engineer for Industrial Lifetime Solutions (ILS) is to achieve profitable sales growth by promoting and selling our ILS portfolio, which includes Predictive Maintenance, Lubrication, Smart Maintenance Tools and Reconditioning solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Tribology, Chemistry or equivalent work experience
  • Extensive experience in lead generation with a proven track record of successful sales conversion
  • Practical experience in navigating various sales channels within industrial sectors
  • Persistent and engaging personality
  • Ability to work independently while effectively contributing to a diversified team
  • Experience with products, services and solutions related to maintenance and reliability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Willingness and ability to travel overnight up to 50% of the time to support Schaeffler customers
  • Familiarity with using CRM systems such as Salesforce
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Background and high performer in Lubrication Field Sales
  • Professional certifications such as the Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS) or the Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and convert to sales opportunities for Industrial Lifetime Solutions (ILS)
  • Increase ILS revenue in the U.S. by expertly navigating sales channels and collaborating with sales teams and service partners
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering high-quality support and service
  • Conduct on-site customer visits to deliver ILS presentations and conduct training sessions
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions and visit reports in Salesforce
