The Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Deputy role is crucial for supporting the successful deployment and operational readiness of complex systems and equipment. This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing logistics activities related to the activation and sustainment of systems, ensuring they meet all operational and support requirements. The ILS Activation Deputy will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and our customers, to deliver comprehensive logistics solutions that optimize system performance and lifecycle costs.

  • Develop and implement ILS activation plans and strategies
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and support teams to ensure system readiness
  • Manage and oversee the logistics aspects of system deployment and activation
  • Monitor and report on the progress of ILS activation activities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
  • Strong understanding of Integrated Logistics Support principles and practices
  • Experience in system activation and deployment processes
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in logistics planning and supportability analysis tools
  • Effective communication and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
  • A Bachelors degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree
  • Solid knowledge of Acquisition Logistics (a multi-functional technical management discipline associated with influencing design for supportability and planning the support infrastructure for a system by focusing on the integrated logistics support (ILS) elements and working with and across all IPTs)
  • In-depth knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements (supply support; maintenance planning; manpower and personnel; technical manuals; training and training equipment; support equipment; facilities; computer resources support; packaging, handling, storage and transportation (PHS&T); design interface; reliability, maintainability and availability (RM&A), how they interact and how they are applied across a program, their effect on a system, plus how a systems design and changes affect the ILS elements)
  • Knowledge of military/commercial requirements/specifications
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
