About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Illumio Zero Trust Network Engineer with strong expertise in microsegmentation and Zero Trust architecture implementation. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Illumio-based solutions to enhance security posture, reduce attack surfaces, and ensure secure application and workload communications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network security, with at least 2+ years of hands-on Illumio implementation.
• Strong expertise in Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA) and microsegmentation.
• Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and enterprise network security.
• Experience integrating Illumio with hybrid environments (cloud, on-prem, containers).
• Familiarity with regulatory/compliance requirements (PCI, HIPAA, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Illumio Certified Engineer (ICE) or equivalent.
• CISSP, CCNP Security, or other security certifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Illumio Core / Edge solutions for Zero Trust microsegmentation.
• Lead end-to-end deployment and integration with existing network and security infrastructure.
• Develop and enforce microsegmentation policies based on applications, workloads, and business requirements.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to align Zero Trust strategy.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and provide ongoing support for Illumio environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, policies, and best practices.
