About The Position

Reporting to the Site Director, the iLEADership Resident works in tandem with the Site Director in performing school management duties and will act as administrative head of the school in the absence of the Site Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited or approved college or university with a major or emphasis on education and/or administration/management.
  • At least one year of teaching experience.
  • Some administration experience.
  • Valid Teaching credentials.
  • Experience with an education setting and/or real world experience in being non-traditional, flexible, open minded, and collaborative.
  • Ability to problem solve and multi-task.
  • Ability to cooperate successfully as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrated capability to maintain effective relationships in a team oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Very high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness.

  • Maintain confidentiality of learners and their records.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit clear and concise communication skills and public relation/marketing skills .
  • Develop collaborative, strong and positive relationships with the learners, parents, staff and community.
  • Act decisively and promptly in day-to-day operations.
  • Remain calm and composed in tense situations.
  • Help recruit, onboard, mentor, support, guide, train, and evaluate staff.
  • Use appropriate language in and out of the classroom.
  • Assists in the implementation of and supervises and monitors educational programs.
  • Supports school leadership teams in developing long and short-range plans for academic achievement.
  • Assists in formulating, interpreting, and implementing the school’s administrative policies.
  • Coordinates and assists the Site Director with the school budgets and the monitoring of expenditures of school funds.
  • Organizes, assists, and implements the School’s Safety Plan and complies with mandated child abuse reporting.
  • Counsels students and recommends and implements student intervention or disciplinary actions in accordance with iLEAD’s policies and procedures.
  • Assists the Site Director to meet state and federal mandates and to ensure instructional monitoring and compliance needs.
  • Assists with the overall campus management, student services, extracurricular activities, and community affairs.
  • Ability to direct the management activities.

  • Writing professionally, both by hand and utilizing computer software.
