About The Position

This position has responsibility of operating and maintaining electroencephograph and neurodiagnostic equipment. Will be working with patients ranging from infants to patients in later maturity.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year experience in EEG and/or Evoked Potential
• Basic Life Support Certification, maintain/recertify every two years

Responsibilities

• Performs Neurological Technical Procedures: This includes using a variety of instruments for recording EEG, Evoked Potential, 10M and EMG/NC studies. These procedures are performed in the department and at bedside, in O.R. at multiple locations within Deaconess Health System.
• Performs instrument maintenance: This involves performing various instrument checks and calibrations to ensure accuracy.
• Participates in departmental and hospital performance improvement teams as appropriate.
• Complies with Standards of Employee Conduct and promotes a patient safety culture.
