The Integrated Grid Planning (IGP) Program develops multi year optimized investment plans for the Electric organization by integrating system needs, solution options, cost, execution considerations, and enterprise risk. IGP partners closely with Asset Strategy, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Regulatory teams to ensure that investment portfolios deliver the greatest value to customers within real world constraints. The Principal, IGP Portfolio Owner is a senior individual contributor role with enterprise level accountability for shaping, governing, and optimizing one or more Integrated Grid Planning (IGP) investment portfolios. This role owns portfolio outcomes, not just analysis or process, and is responsible for ensuring that multiyear investment decisions are value-driven, risk-informed, affordable, and executable. Operating with significant autonomy, the Principal Portfolio Owner serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating complex system needs, risk tradeoffs, and strategic objectives into clear, decision ready portfolio recommendations that guide PG&E’s long-term electric investments. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. Position will report to Oakland or Pleasanton twice a week or as needed.
