Techneaux is currently looking for a qualified Ignition Tools Development Intern to join our Enterprise Services (ES) team. What makes Techneaux a great place to work? At Techneaux, your career is what you make of it. Job Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities outlined below include essential functions of the role. Depending on business needs, this role may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. As an Ignition Tools Development Intern, you will play a key role in designing and building internal tools within the Ignition platform that streamline and accelerate Techneaux's integration services delivery. Your efforts will directly support our engineering teams by reducing manual effort, improving repeatability, and increasing the speed at which we bring solutions to our clients. You may also assist with testing, documentation, and deployment support. There may be opportunities to pursue certifications in Ignition or other SCADA-related technologies; however, this is not guaranteed. This will be a 10-week internship starting in June.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a passion for knowledge management
  • Experience with or strong interest in AI, Systems Development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort with data correlation/analysis
  • Ability to interpret technical data and assist in creating effective support documentation
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of Ignition-based tools and utilities designed to expedite integration workflows and reduce delivery time on SCADA projects
  • Design and build reusable components, templates, and scripts within the Ignition platform to support standardized integration practices
  • Collaborate with integration engineers to identify pain points in current workflows and propose tool-based solutions
  • Assist with testing and validating developed tools across various project environments to ensure reliability and performance
  • Support documentation efforts by creating clear, organized reference materials for developed tools and processes
