About The Position

Candidate MUST have experience integrating Ignition SCADA systems. Oil and gas is a plus but the experience is not required. Myst be proficient in Python; Java is a plus. Design and develop HMI, MES, and SCADA systems built around the Ignition platform using SQL, Python, JavaScript, and other languages and technologies. Design and develop within multiple technologies, including but not limited to: o Data historians (OSI PI, Rockwell FactoryTalk Historian, etc.) o Databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) o Custom applications (C#, .NET, etc.) Develop and configure interfaces with third-party software tools such as OPC servers Provide detailed documentation to clients on system design and programming

Requirements

• Experience integrating Ignition SCADA systems.
• Proficient in Python
• 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with SCADA or MES applications with at least two years focused on Ignition development
• Experience working with OPC servers and tag data
• Experience developing in higher-level programming languages such as C#/.NET, SQL, Python, JavaScript, or others
• Experience working with SQL or Oracle databases, writing medium to complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Ability to understand PLC logic and programming
