The Engineering Development Program (EDP) at UPS is a structured 4-month training program for highly qualified Industrial Engineers. The program involves interactive classroom training, self-paced computer-based-training, on-the-job training, and a structured support network. Upon completion of the program, the engineer will have the opportunity to move into an Industrial Engineering (IE) Supervisor position as detailed below.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following preferred majors: Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Engineering & Technology Management, Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, Automation Engineering, Engineering Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management/Research
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enthusiasm, idealism, creativity and dedication to getting results
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively across business units
