About The Position

DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a qualified Task Lead to oversee the execution and day-to-day management of individual Task Orders under the Special Operations Forces Global Services Delivery (SOFGSD) contract in support of USSOCOM. The Task Lead serves as the primary point of contact for task order performance, ensuring all technical, operational, and administrative objectives are met. This role requires a strong background in Special Operations or defense environments, with proven leadership, program execution, and communication skills to maintain mission success across dynamic operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance or as required by the Task Order.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience supporting USSOCOM, its component commands, or equivalent DoD operational organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
  • PMP, DAWIA, or equivalent management or technical certification applicable to the assigned functional area.
  • Proven ability to lead complex programs, coordinate with senior defense personnel, manage dynamic operations, and ensure mission success under demanding timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary interface between the contractor team and the Government’s Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for all task order activities.
  • Direct and supervise contractor personnel assigned to the task order, ensuring high-quality deliverables and mission alignment.
  • Oversee task order execution, including schedule, cost, and technical performance, ensuring compliance with all contract and USSOCOM standards.
  • Implement task-level quality assurance and performance monitoring to maintain operational effectiveness.
  • Coordinate across cross-functional and subcontractor teams to synchronize operational and technical support activities.
  • Develop and deliver periodic performance reports, risk assessments, and metrics to the IDIQ Program Manager and COR.
  • Ensure all personnel adhere to USSOCOM directives, policies, and mission-specific operational requirements.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development to team members supporting assigned tasks.
