About The Position

Dragonfli Group is a cybersecurity and IT consulting firm providing services to federal agencies and Fortune 100 enterprises. Headquartered in Washington, DC, Dragonfli supports clients in securing mission-critical systems across on-site, hybrid, and fully remote environments. The Identity Security Project Lead role supports a large federal agency's Cybersecurity Operations team, protecting critical systems and data within a large-scale IT environment. The Lead will drive identity initiatives, such as the deployment of Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM), and focus on driving "metrics-that-matter" within identity platforms to ensure operational success. The role requires seasoned IT security expertise, hands-on technical skills, and strong communication and planning abilities. It's a high-impact opportunity to shape identity and access security within a major federal agency. Candidates must possess at least 3 years of experience as an Identity Security Project Lead and 3 years of managing technical implementations of identity tools. This is a multi-year contract position involving a large US federal agency. Candidates with previous federal contracting experience are preferred. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. If hired, all work related to this role must be performed within the continental U.S.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an Identity Security Project Lead & Enablement Manager.
  • 3+ years of managing technical implementations related to Identity tools (e.g., Ping, Okta, Entra, SailPoint, BeyondTrust).
  • Experience with using artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) for detection of fraudulent activity.
  • Strong working knowledge of Control Frameworks and Risk Management techniques.
  • Proficiency in using machine learning frameworks for anomaly detection and user authentication.
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with previous federal contracting experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive identity initiatives, specifically the deployment and optimization of Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) solutions.
  • Define and track "metrics-that-matter" to evaluate the health and success of identity platforms.
  • Manage technical implementations related to Identity tools, including Ping, Okta, Entra, SailPoint, and BeyondTrust.
  • Utilize AI/ML-based tools and techniques to detect anomalies and fraudulent activity.
  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to improve user authentication in a large-scale enterprise context.
  • Improve data quality through the application of AI/ML and advanced analytics.
  • Provide executive briefings and manage stakeholder expectations through effective storytelling with data.
  • Collaborate across Operations to provide SOC enhancement capabilities.
  • Identify cybersecurity problems requiring mitigating controls.
  • Stay current on cybersecurity trends and AI/ML research.
