About The Position

This position conducts all-source analysis and analytical production by using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature. You will provide all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements on a range of topics to include foreign command structures and leaderships; identify unique identifying human characteristics, modalities, and fuse identity attributes to identify and assess threat individuals and networks, their capabilities and capacity, centers of gravity, objectives, intent, and potential courses of action; analyze friendly and adversary biometric systems to understand their capabilities, vulnerabilities, and inform the U.S. Defense Acquisition Community; support army modernization efforts to identify future and current leading-edge technologies and their military applications worldwide. Analysts will project the discovery, development, and deployment of advanced technologies and their potential impact on U.S. Forces worldwide. You will identify and support the protection from transfer and diversion of defense and dual-use U.S. technologies and assesses national security implications associated with foreign involvement in critical U.S. Defense technology and defense sectors. Analysts produce Intelligence for the U.S. Intelligence, and Defense and Acquisition Communities. Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Office environment.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates comprehensive mission knowledge and all-source skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced.
  • Demonstrates the ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organization, and intelligence disciplines.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
  • Demonstrates ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems. Provides guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies.
  • Uses argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives.
  • Clearance Required: TS/SCI
  • Minimum Education: High School Education
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 12 yrs relevant experience, 8 yrs w/ Bachelor’s Degree
