About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst in Cyber Security as part of Identity Access Management (IAM). This role will be part of the Identity and Access Management Initiatives team, which provides effective end-to-end IAM initiative and issue management including strategic solutioning, execution management, testing and validation readiness, impediment remediation, and closure across all IAM products. The individual will act as a liaison between the initiatives team and IAM leadership, accountable for driving a matrixed team towards timely implementation of IAM solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced information security consultation for all aspects of information security compliance policy, risk management, and remediation.
  • Direct information security risk assessment and research, and advise on remediation plans, metrics and strategies.
  • Influence stakeholders on net new or on material changes to an asset to influence control decisions.
  • Provide consulting on security risk assessment and research, and recommend remediation plans and strategies.
  • Act as more experienced lead to the organization to develop security risk awareness and mitigating actions.
  • Consult the organization on complex security issues and findings.
  • Manage the execution of the most complex and critical programs and issues in IAM.
  • Evaluate and interpret internal and companywide information security policies, processes, standards, and participate with more experienced leaders in decision making on information security.
  • Serve as information security lead to advise on the development and delivery of Information Security Education and Awareness.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
  • Lead projects and teams.
  • Coordinate evidence gathering and packaging and work with defense partners to complete testing and validation of issues.
  • Serve as a mentor to less experienced staff.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • 5+ years of risk management, business controls, quality assurance, business operations, compliance, or process experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and IAM principles.
  • Experience managing complex work across matrixed organizations and stakeholder groups.
  • Cloud experience or understanding of cloud delivery - Azure, GCP.
  • Ability to escalate and resolve risks/issue timely through senior leadership and product owners.
  • Ability to assess risk early and holistically to remediate systemic root causes.
  • Report on portfolio status timely, accurately, and holistically.
  • Define metrics and thresholds for escalations.
  • Strong understanding of the issue management lifecycle and issue remediation requirements.
  • Ability to succinctly and accurately message program progress, impediments, and successes to executive leadership and line of defense partners including Audit.
  • Understanding of SDLC - Software Delivery Life Cycle.
  • Experience leading in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience in governing remediation programs in large, complex financial services organizations.
  • Experience managing non-financial risks and audit items.
  • Experience providing written updates to regulators, clients, committees, and C-level executives.
  • Experience with large-scale transformation programs in either IT operations, IT infrastructure or the Software Delivery Lifecycle.
  • Project Management, Risk & Control frameworks, business experience.
  • Experience with Program and Project management practices.
  • Knowledge and experience of working using the Agile methodology.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow.
  • Experience creating and presenting metrics-based reporting for consumption by senior technology and risk executives.
