About The Position

MedVet is the largest family of emergency and specialty hospitals owned and led by veterinarians. The Identity Access Management Coordinator (IAA) is responsible for maintaining secure and efficient access to MedVet's systems and applications. This role ensures that caregivers have the right access at the right time while maintaining compliance with security policies and regulatory standards. The IAMC supports the full lifecycle of user accounts—including provisioning, modifications, and deactivation—and partners with HR, Compliance, and IT teams to uphold the integrity of access controls across the organization. This is an onsite position working at our 350. E Wilson Bridge Rd, Worthington OH office.

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in computer-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Administration, Active Directory / Azure AD, and standard authentication tools (MFA, SSO).
  • Familiarity with access control concepts such as least privilege and role-based access.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Customer-focused with clear communication skills and a commitment to timely service delivery.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively in a high-volume support environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with service management and ticketing systems (e.g., ManageEngine, ServiceNow) preferred.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, or ITIL Foundations are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process user account provisioning, changes, and terminations in alignment with HR-driven onboarding and offboarding workflows.
  • Execute onboarding and offboarding tasks in alignment with HR-driven workflows and IAM standards
  • Monitor and respond to IAM-related service requests, incidents, and escalations within defined SLAs.
  • Order, track, and distribute hardware and peripherals associated with onboarding or role changes (e.g., laptops, badges, phones).
  • Provide support for password resets, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and account unlocks.
  • Identify recurring issues or access challenges and communicate findings to IAM leadership for process improvement.
  • Works with IT, cybersecurity, human resources, and business units to integrate IAM into workflows, such as onboarding/off-boarding and application access.
