About The Position

Aspirus Health in Wausau, WI is seeking an Identity and Access Management Analyst to join our INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY team! The Identity and Access Management Analyst performs intermediate-level Identity and Access Management (IAM) functions with moderate supervision, including user lifecycle management, access reviews, and process documentation. This role requires the ability to work independently on routine tasks while developing expertise in IAM technologies and beginning to mentor entry-level staff. Key responsibilities include independently performing user provisioning and deprovisioning across multiple systems, conducting thorough access reviews and remediation, managing privileged access requests, administering SSO configurations, maintaining directory services, generating compliance reports, and managing ServiceNow tickets. The position includes creating comprehensive process documentation, identifying process improvements, providing mentorship to Associate-level staff, providing basic education to clinical and business staff on IAM processes and access requests, and communicating IAM policy changes and updates to end users in clear, non-technical language.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field; OR High school diploma with minimum 2 years of relevant IT experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or identity management preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to create technical documentation
  • Experience with directory services and user management preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and cloud identity services
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio
  • Basic understanding of networking and security principles
  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Professional IT certifications beneficial but not required (examples: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Azure fundamentals)
