About The Position

• Responsible for insuring entries are properly numbered
• Responsible for checking and recording any and all equipment changes of every starter
• Responsible for insuring all entries are in the proper stalls
• Responsible for collecting and maintaining all race numbers and insuring their cleanliness
• Responsible for other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have a High School diploma/GED
• Must be able to obtain a MRC License
• Must have knowledge on the Minnesota Racing rules and procedures
• Must have knowledge of harness equipment
• Must be able to effectively present information to management both verbally and written
• Must be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations
• Must be able to work near and around horses
• Must be able to work in a noisy environment
• Must be able to lift or move up to 100lbs
• Must be able to work in outside, summer working conditions

Nice To Haves

• Three years of experience in the racing industry is preferred
