As Program Manager, you will assist the Program Director in overseeing our I/DD Medicaid Waiver programs, helping ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care. As Program Manager, you will oversee programmatic operations and supervise hourly staff and supervisors across our Waiver Services Department. This includes ensuring training and professional development, program quality, billing and documentation management, and supporting growth through community outreach and stakeholder relationships. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to Human Services and one year of documented experience providing direct services with individuals with a diagnosis of an intellectual or other developmental disabilities.
  • OR Equivalent Experience
  • Equivalent Experience is defined as five years of paid experience in providing direction, development and implementation, direct supervision and monitoring (observation and evaluation of staff implementing care, service plans & interacting with persons in services) to the service provided. This position has responsibility for approving assessments and individual service plans or treatment plans to ensure that appropriate services are provided to meet the needs of the individuals serviced. Must have documented experience developing, conducting, and approving assessments and individual service plans or treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of service plans, objectives and methods necessary for providing effective services to individuals.
  • Complete required documentation as dictated by local, state, federal, and Dominion Care policies, regulations, and laws.
  • Act as liaison with providers for process reporting and service planning, outreach, and education.
  • Assist in Serious Incident Reporting, and completes CHRIS reporting requirements with support from Program Director or other members of Senior Leadership.
  • Participate in provider meetings, community meetings and other providers and program activities essential for the operation of an effective program.
  • Responsible for the development of high quality, individualized, and effective programs for persons in services with focus on choice, rights, and community relationship building.
  • Supervise hourly staff including both direct care and hourly supervisors. Support Service Coordinators with the functions of their role.
  • Provide quality customer service to individuals served, their families, case managers, and all stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Work with Program Director to review census, revenue, profit and loss, and quality assurance measures.
  • Manage Health & Safety responsibilities including delegation, follow-up for completion, and reporting to QA as required.
  • Manage physical program to include maintenance needs, supply orders, contracted providers (cleaning, security, Cintas, inspections).
  • Manage vehicle maintenance oversight with support from Program Director.
