About The Position

Almost Family is seeking a passionate and motivated IDD Program Director to lead and grow our services in the Pendleton, Oregon region. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong work ethic, a growth-oriented mindset, and a genuine commitment to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). As a key leader in our organization, the Director will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with the state of Oregon regulations, support a high-performing team, and foster strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners. Success in this role requires excellent organizational skills, clear and professional communication, and a consistently positive, solutions-focused attitude. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience with I/DD or Health Care Industries
  • Proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of IDD services within the Pendleton/Eastern Oregon region
  • Ensure full compliance with Oregon state regulations and regional center guidelines
  • Supervise, support, and mentor program staff to maintain high-quality service delivery
  • Implement individualized service plans (ISPs) in coordination with clients, families, and care teams
  • Serve as the primary liaison with community partners, vendors, and state agencies
  • Monitor and manage caseloads, staffing ratios, and program documentation
  • Conduct regular staff training, evaluations, and performance improvement initiatives
  • Drive program growth through outreach, referrals, and relationship building
  • Maintain accurate records for audits, billing, and reporting purposes
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions aligned with agency goals
  • Promote a culture of positivity, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Respond promptly to client or staff emergencies, concerns, or incidents
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and organizational development
  • Attend and represent the agency at relevant community events, meetings, and training's
